Once an advertiser’s budget has been reached, their content will no longer be distributed. However, that’s not to say readers can’t still click on content distributed before the budget was reached. Therefore, the advertiser may be charged up to 20% more than the daily budget if this situation occurs.
That being said, Native Ads takes overspending very seriously and as a result, there are many systems in place to help prevent overspending of any kind. While it may be a technical possibility, only in very rare cases will an advertiser’s budget ever spend past the desired amount.
