What are IAB Native cost-per-click ad units?

The Native Ads IAB Native cost-per-click (CPC) ad unit or “native in banner” is a higher paying CPC unit that generally fills with editorial and direct response type ads.

The ad unit is available in several different sizes and is ideal as a 300×250 or 728×90 passback tag to optimize fill rates (check out the videos below to learn more about how to set these up).

Approved publishers can customize the unit’s display settings (title text and arrow background colors) and generate the ad unit easily using ourĀ wizard.

  • For best results on Desktop, place 728×90 at top of article page and 300×250 second unit from top in side rail
  • For best results on Mobile, place 320×50 at top of article page, 300×250 units at middle upper, middle lower and bottom upper locations on article page
